ENGINEERED IN THE DOLOMITES
We are proud to have partnered with Salewa on their new flagship concept store in Bolzano, Italy. The store aims to continually create inspiration, experience and immersion, deepening the relationship between consumer, the brand, and the mountains.
Focusing on form and scale to create an immersive and dynamic brand experience, we seamlessly blended tradition with innovation to create an authentic space inspired by the Dolomites. Customers enter through the ‘360’, a 4m high digital tunnel showcasing brand ambassador stories and panoramic videos of the surrounding landscape. Two further timber tunnels draw you to the heart of the store where the 360 experience continues, with an area dedicated to theatrical VM and showcase for seasonal and product launches.
Sustainability and locality were key to this project – Ensuring each material chosen, each element designed, and each supplier appointed were as true to the brands Committed values as possible. All materials were sourced from the local area, with spruce timber, dolomite limestone and hemp from the Salewa estate, creating a simple yet refined palette.
With dedicated spaces in store for the sale of ‘pre-loved’ items called ‘Second Life’, service points for Rental, and a Repair Studio aimed at prolonging the lifespan of Salewa products, the store is intended to change the game in retail with a true circular experience.
