We do Gym(shark).
Community-centric design from digital to physical. Gymshark’s latest physical store isn’t just about IRL retail shopping but is about an experiential space that brings the conditioning community closer together.
Our approach was to challenge the existing retail formats and create a true beacon for the brand. A space where the conditioning community can experience Gymshark IRL, immerse themselves in exclusive product collections and connect with expert service.
Working closely with the Gymshark team our original idea was driven by the concept of creating an agile shopping experience, presenting product collections, pop up installations/a place to host brand events and workout space. The actual merchandise system is squat rack hardware which can be de-merchandised and used in store.
Authenticity is key to a brand that was built in the weight room. Attention to detail was crucial as well as authenticity in materials and simplicity in form.
To the rear of the store the Gymshark brand logo is carved out of the render finish- simple, minimal and powerful.
When the customer enters the store, before they have even looked or touched a product, the store environment should tell them- We do Gym.
Our journey with Gymshark is an amazing opportunity to re-define experiential retail and explore new ways to continually create inspiration and immersion to connect with the Gymshark brand with the conditioning community.
